Strathallan formed in Jan 2007, and quickly made a name for high quality and exciting dance music, with a cheerful smile!

The band takes its name from the lovely estate of Strathallan School in Perthshire, where Ann (a founder member) lived as a child. Strathallan play across the Midlands and southern England and further afield for country dances, society balls and weddings, and are equally at home with Scottish, English, Irish and American music. A caller and piper can be provided on request. The band has adopted the modern tartan, 'Heart of Scotland'.
